Thanksgiving!

We have been counting down the days to this sacred holiday. If you know Lisa at all, Thanksgiving is the holiday of all holidays. Turkey dinner is her very very favorite. It was served at our luncheon dinner. She is a fan. Seth loves it too so it is a perfect pairing.

This Thanksgiving we are going down to Orderville in southern Utah with Seth's family. Tonight we are spending the night with Lisa's family in Garland and tommorow Seth's family will be swinging by to pick us up for our long trip. We haven't been down to Orderville since Spring Break last year so we are super excited. It will be Lisa's first Thanksgiving away from her family. To help her feel more at home though she will make a mess of apple pie which is her absolute favorite.

Other than the Turkey Holiday we are doing great. Lisa just recently changed majors to Excercise Science which is now call Human Movement Science or something like that. She hopes to get her masters degree in something like Sports Nutrition if it is offered. She is so excited to get out of her old major and move on into something more exciting. Seth is same old same old. He is finishing up his first semester in the Environmental Engineering program. Once Thanksgiving is over he will be in the gauntlet of finishing up 3 big papers, one monster take home final on building a landfill, and studying for finals. Oh yeah.

Other than that we are wonderful and happily married. It is amazing that it has been six months already.

So we decided last night that we really needed to carve pumpkins this year. So we went all over Logan trying to find the pumpkin carving kits. 4 stores later we found some. We each got a big pumpkin and then we got three little pumpkins so we could carve BOO into them. Lisa is very very skilled at pumpkin carving. She puts me to shame. We didn't start carving until 9 and didn't finish until 12:30. It was great. This was our Halloween celebration because we have to work all night on Saturday. Go us. Anyways life is good for us! We have never been happier!

So we made it and were married. We then fell off the face of the planet like all good married couples do. Finally we have decided to update our blog. After the wedding we went on our honeymoon to west yellowstone. It was a lot of fun. We spent a week in a condo and explored tiny west yellowstone. It was a lot of fun. After our honeymoon we went back to normal life in Logan. I (Seth) worked two jobs. During the week I worked as a lab assistant/mad scientist at USUs waterlab. On the weekend I worked with handicapped adults for NES. They are both great jobs. Lisa worked at the Providence Inn all summer and took a couple classes.

We are both very happy and love married life. School starts Monday and we are both ready to get back into the grind. This semester is my first semester in the Environmental Engineering program. I am worried and excited. Lisa will continue to take Nurtrition classes as well this semester.
